The Georgian Mountains: In Photos

“On the loose to climb a mountain, on the loose where I am free. On the loose to live my life, the way I think my life should be.”

Since I have already spoken about the wonderful region of Sveneti, here are some beautiful pictures from just two days of riding through the area.

  1. Wonderful blog and hats off to you for your guts! I’m glad you’re not traveling alone, although I wish we lived in a world where that would never be a concern. Your pictures have inspired me to put Georgia on my list. I’ve always wanted to go overland from Europe to India, but it’s been politically difficult in the past. Now things are a little better, at least for a while. I’m afraid of Pakistan, but I should probably reconsider that.
You are so brave to rely on the help of strangers and stay in their house and eat the food they offer. I always worry that they will offer me something that I can’t/don’t eat want to eat. Like fat or brains or something weird. Have you ever had a hard time with food or board you were offered (bugs, snakes, rodents)?

    • Hello! I’ve had rodents in south America before, but nothing too crazy! I don’t mind weird food, it’s alcohol I have had a problem with cause I don’t drink and here in Georgia it’s big!
