A Mini Bucket List

“If you’re bored with life, if you don’t get up every morning with a burning desire to do things, then don’t have enough goals.”

Whoever said you needed New Years to write a list of goals? Here are a few things I hope to accomplish during the next year, starting November 1st.

-Trek 50+ days in a year (Nov 2013-Nov 2014)
(Full on self supported backpacking, day hikes don’t count)

-Cycle 10,000+km

-Run at least once a week (10km) for 52 weeks straight

-Hike 35km+ in one day

-Spend 1,500$ or less in five months (Nepal)

-Learn at least two new Nepali words a day (and as much Nepali as I can in five months)

-Camp in Myanmar

-Trek in Ladakh

– Return to the village (Kot) that adopted me in India

  1. Your zeal for life and passion to pursue your goals are such a joy to me! I stepped out of my comfort zone and did the Trans Am solo in 2011 and learned that what you speak about setting goals and chasing your dreams is true. Set fear aside, follow your heart and live every day to the fullest. I always look forward to your posts. Thank you for sharing your life and journey with us!
